Magnetic Behavior of the Arrays of Iron Cylindrical Nanostructures: Atomistic Spin Model Simulations

Cylindrical ferromagnetic nanowires are of particular interest in nanomaterials science due to various manufacturing methods and a wide range applications nanotechnology, with special attention given those diameters less than the single domain limit. In current study, simulations magnetic properties isolated iron diameter 5 nm aspect ratios, as well two types arrays such (with hexagonal square arrangement), were performed using atomistic spin model. case nanowire, change coercive field for different applied directions ratio was discussed. It shown that evolution magnetization reversal mechanism from coherent rotation wall propagation appears increasing length nanowire. For cylindrical nanostructures, it revealed number nearest neighbors each nanostructure have an influence on their magnetostatic interactions, which most significant shortest interwire distances. The corresponding configurations during remagnetization process showed appearance intermediate states (when part wires is magnetized parallel antiparallel direction), connected Barkhausen effect, observed hysteresis curves.
